Workplace Wellbeing

Before becoming a yoga teacher I spent 7 years working for a high street bank, followed by a short stint in retail finance. It was a high pressure, target driven environment with constant regulatory changes. I know first hand how hard it is to find a good work/life balance, and how easy it is to reach burn out. 

Towards the end of my time in finance there was a shift towards looking after the wellbeing and mental health of employees, with many companies now having a focus on wellness initiatives being part of their core values.

Since 2019 I have worked with both large and small organisations to provide regular yoga classes, wellbeing workshops, and meditation sessions as part of their commitment to improving the wellbeing of their staff. 

Not only do wellness programmes help employees feel better in mind and body, they also help staff feel valued by management, which leads to higher morale and staff retention, boosted performance and productivity, and less sick days, as well as the company becoming more attractive to new, high calibre candidates.

There can only be positives from having a healthy, happy, workforce!

How can I help your wellness initiative?

Yoga Classes

Regular team/workplace yoga classes can be tailored to your needs. Choose group or 1:1 sessions for staff, 30-60 minutes long. They can even be done right at the desk!

Wellness Programmes

3, 6, or 12 month programmes curated with the help of your HR department/wellbeing champion to include regular workshops and sessions, often tied in with national events such as Mental Health Awareness week. 

Workshops

Specialised workshops with talks, activities, and break away sessions on a subject of your choice. A good option for national awareness events such as 'Managing Menopause', and 'Combat Stress'.

Wellbeing Days

During your Wellbeing Day there will be a selection of sessions for employees to enjoy including yoga, meditation, massage, Reiki and Kinesiology. Pick a day for the company to close their diary & I'll do the rest!

Employee Benefits

Subsidise my sessions through an employee benefit scheme, and/or allow time for employees to have a 1:1 session or join a group class through flexible working hours. For staff with long term health concerns or recovering from injury, yoga sessions are just as important as seeing their Dr or physio!

Online Hub

Together we can create an online hub for employees to access a variety of on demand virtual classes which they can join in their own time. 

Yoga Class

I just want to thank Sian for organising and teaching the most amazing wellness session for my team and I. From the initial enquiry about organising a wellness morning to walking into the beautiful studio at Aprils Farm, Sian was so friendly, warm and welcoming. Every member of my team commented on how much they loved the 2-hour session and how they all felt so much more relaxed after.
